Jinho is one of the most talked-about celebrities in the South Korean poker scene, and arguably the country's No. 1 player.
A former professional StarCraft player who was active in the early 2000s, he also proved himself to be a natural strategist during his appearances on competitive television shows such as ""The Genius"" and ""Crime Scene"".
He began pursing poker full-time in 2019 and has since participated in several tournaments. He has scored numerous wins and cashes in international events such as the APT, Wynn Classic, and WSOP, making him one of the top ranked players in South Korea. In 2022, he won a WSOP bracelet from the Poker Hall of Fame Bounty (Event #76) as well as the Wynn Summer Classic NLH Championship. He holds the distinction of being the all-time earnings leader and fourth player to win a WSOP bracelet in Korea.
Jinho is known for his ability to see through his opponents, to the point that during his appearance on Poker Gods War other players were almost convinced that he could see their cards. According to Jinho, a core element of his poker strategy is understanding his opponent's playstyle.
As a GGPoker/2ACE Ambassador, Jinho's ultimate goal is to win the WSOP Main Even bracelet.
