Chao Hei, a professional yet 'casual' player from Foshan, Guangzhou, was introduced to Texas Hold'em through early James Bond films.

Despite the poker scene in China being in its nascent stages at that time, with limited resources available, Chao Hei managed to secure his first major win in poker by his second year of joining tournaments.

With the capital he acquired, he continued to achieve significant success in the international poker arena and became one of the most sought-after stars in the poker world.

Since then, Chao Hei has made a significant impact both on international stages and in major domestic tournaments in China. His impressive performances have earned him a large number of loyal fans.

Naturally, like every poker player, he has aspired to win the coveted WSOP (World Series of Poker) bracelet. 2024 marked the peak of Chao Hei's career. He won the championship titles in WSOP #41 and WSOP #96, realizing his long-standing dream and becoming the first Chinese player to earn two WSOP bracelets.

Outside of poker, Chao Hei is a versatile sports enthusiast, excelling in football, skiing, diving, mountaineering, and more. He truly enjoys life, embodying his motto: "Playing poker is for entertainment, making a profit is just a bonus."
